OCA BECAUSE SCIENCE SAYS WE CAN.jpg

Part 5.

Science Says We Can

We’ve just talked about this matured noosphere, and the knowledge within it that humanity can use to consciously choose to spiritually evolve.  Now the question is, this there any scientific knowledge that can help in humanity’s spiritual evolution?  And I believe the answer is “yes".

“Reality is a unified whole, but thought cuts it up into fragments.  This gives rise to fundamental misperceptions, for example, that there are separate things and events, or that this is the cause of that.  Every thought implies a perspective, and every perspective, by its very nature, implies limitation, which ultimately means that it is not true, at least not absolutely.  Only the whole is true, but the whole cannot be spoken or thought.”

— Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth

Which means...

“Human science fragments everything in order to understand it, kills everything in order to examine it”.

— Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

Therefore...

“There is a fundamental error in separating the parts from the whole, the mistake of atomizing what should not be atomized. Unity and complementarity constitute reality.”

— Physicist Werner Heisenberg

Which means...

“science itself is demanding a new, non-fragmentary world view,”

— Physicist David Bohm, Wholeness and the Implicate Order

And fortunately...

“Modern physics has taught us that the nature of any system cannot be discovered by dividing it into its component parts and studying each part by itself... We must keep our attention fixed on the whole and on the interconnection between the parts."

— Physicist Max Planck

Therefore...

“The more we split and pulverize matter artificially, the more insistently it proclaims its fundamental unity.”

— Jesuit Priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

“Quantum physics thus reveals a basic oneness of the universe.”

— Physicist Erwin Schrodinger

And as a result...

“Science, philosophy and religion are bound to converge as they draw nearer to the whole.”

— Jesuit Priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

And historically...

“Old Newtonian physics claimed that things have an objective reality separate from our perception of them.  Quantum physics, and particularly Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, reveal that, as our perception of an object changes, the object itself literally changes.  The science of religion is actually the science of consciousness, because ultimately all creation is expressed through the mind.”

— Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

Which means...

“In a malleable world where everything from atoms to cells is changing to match our beliefs, we're limited only by the way we think of ourselves in that world.”

— Author Gregg Braden

And as a result...

“Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think."

— Buddha

“Whatever one cultivates, is what one becomes.”

— Lao Tzu

“We are collaborators in creation.”

— Jesuit Priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

“The actuality of thought is life.”

— Aristotle

“Thought creates our world, and then says 'I didn't do it.”

— Physicist David Bohm

And most importantly...

“Paradise is a state of mind.”

— Singer/Songwriter/Philanthropist Dolly Parton

Furthermore...

“Science no longer is in the position of observer of nature, but rather recognizes itself as part of the interplay between man and nature. The scientific method ... changes and transforms its object: the procedure can no longer keep its distance from the object.”

— Physicist Werner Heisenberg

And...

“The knower and the known are one. Simple people imagine that they should see God as if he stood there and they here. This is not so. God and I, we are one in knowledge.”

— Meister Eckhart

“God is intelligence occupied with knowing itself.”

— Meister Eckhart

Which also means...

“In the great drama of existence we are audience and actors at the same time.”

— Physicist Niels Bohr

Therefore...

“Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we are trying to solve.”

— Physicist Max Planck

Thus...

“A physicist is just an atom's way of looking at itself.”

— Physicist Niels Bohr

And as a result...

“Scientists are now beginning to recognize a oneness that lies beyond all perceived reality.  This oneness is God, and our beingness lies with it.”

— Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

“The more I study science, the more I believe in God.”

— Physicist Albert Einstein

And what is the oneness with God called?

“The person who discovered the law of love was a far greater scientist than any of our modern scientists.”

— Mahatma Gandhi

“The greatest science in the world; in heaven and on earth; is love.”

— Mother Teresa

And...

“One day you have to choose between the world and love, remember this: If you choose the world you’ll be left without love, but if you choose love, with it you will conquer the world.”

— Physicist Albert Einstein

Now I will give science some props, as since the so-called Age of Enlightenment, science has evolved—maybe not completely spiritually, but intellectually—discovering our earthly existence is one, whole, infinite, connected reality, where our thoughts create the perception of our Earthly existence.

And pertaining to humanity’s choice of spiritually evolving as a species, I believe this scientific knowledge can help. Because now, with the findings of quantum physics, we better understand our role in the universe—which is, we are the universe.

More importantly, science has proven all creation is expressed through the mind (i.e. “The observer is the observed”), which can be some good scientific knowledge when your goal is to create Heaven on Earth.

Because what quantum physics is currently proving is that humanity can create Heaven on Earth just by thinking it—which makes Dolly Parton’s quote, “Paradise is a state of mind,” scientifically brilliant.

Isn’t that what the OCA Movement is trying to do—change humanity’s collective mindset through spiritual practice—to become more loving, compassionate, kind, and forgiving (i.e. Heaven on Earth) just by thinking it so?

I might be wrong, but I believe quantum physics and the science of today, in my humble opinion, have given the OCA Movement its stamp of approval, and it is a viable path to Heaven on Earth—scientifically speaking.

Well, that might not have been completely humble.

Which means...

“Both observer and observed are merging and interpenetrating aspects of one whole reality, which is indivisible and unanalysable.”

— Physicist David Bohm, Wholeness and the Implicate Order

“The universe as we know it is a joint product of the observer and the observed.”

— Jesuit Priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

"The observer is the observed."

— Philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti
